Tokyo Treasure Store Refund Policy
Return Guidelines
To be eligible for a return, we must receive your request within 10 days from the delivery date.
Damaged or Defective Merchandise Returns
We require notification for any damaged or defective items to process a refund. Refunds for merchandise costs are only available under these conditions. Note that damage to the packaging or boxes of the product does not qualify as merchandise damage. We only accept returns for damages or defects to the product itself. Claims of manufacturing defects due to apparent misuse by the user may be declined.
Undeliverable or Unclaimed Packages
Packages sent back to us by the post office or courier as undeliverable or unclaimed, or refused by the recipient, do not constitute authorized returns. Such packages may not qualify for merchandise cost refunds, at our discretion. Shipping costs are non-refundable in these scenarios. If such packages incur return shipping fees, you are responsible for these costs. Note that returned international packages cannot be reshipped.
Refunding Process
Within 60 days of payment, refunds from Tokyo Treasure Store will be issued in the original currency and payment method used, or as store credit in yen at the current exchange rate, if preferred by the customer. This avoids exchange rate fluctuations.
After 60 days, or for payments not directly made to Tokyo Treasure Store (like return shipping costs), refunds will be issued in yen via PayPal, based on the current exchange rate.
Please be aware that Tokyo Treasure Store is not responsible for any fees charged by credit card companies or PayPal during the refund process. All such fees are the customer's responsibility.
No monetary compensation is provided for orders cancelled without payment due to various reasons including manufacturer cancellations, stock shortages, or release delays.
Order Cancellation Policy
Once placed, orders cannot be cancelled for customer reasons.
We may restrict or terminate accounts of customers who misuse the cancellation policy or fail to submit payment for shippable orders.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have entered the shipping process.
Item Purchase Limits
Item-specific purchase limits will be indicated on the product page or shopping cart. We request customers adhere to these limits. A per-customer limit means only the specified quantity can be ordered. If you've reached the limit, please do not attempt to order again.
Attempts to circumvent purchase limits may result in order cancellations and possible account termination.
Disputes & Chargebacks
We encourage customers to contact Tokyo Treasure Store directly for any disputes, as per our Terms and Conditions. Do not initiate disputes with your credit card company or PayPal against charges from Tokyo Treasure Store.
We commit to resolving customer service issues fairly and promptly. However, we will contest any unwarranted chargebacks or disputes filed by customers. Such actions may lead to blacklisting and refusal of future orders.
